Because I was totally uncertain what the app even did. We got the Frozen microphone Dec 2024, one for each of our kids (3yo and almost 2). The almost 2 yr old repeatedly pushes the biggest button, which is the one that does nothing but tell you to connect the EZ Link app. So the way it works (if you can get it to connect which took a few tries) is that you have to have the app open while your kid pushes the button and then it opens your music app to the frozen soundtrack. You have to then push play on your music app on your phone…. And the music plays on your phone. It’s not so helpful. It would actually be more helpful and fewer taps for me to say “hey siri, play frozen”.

App will not connect to device. I don’t understand the need for an app at all for an audio streaming device it seems extremely redundant. If the goal is to make the experience easier for the customer it adds a layer of complexity. For reference I run a dealership service department and have an extensive home theater seat up and am well above “technology savy”
And can not get this app to work or communicate. Good luck, bought a Bluetooth microphone and paired it my receiver and my girls are having much more fun.

Our EZ Link products are shipped with the EZ Link feature button disabled. To enable this button and use the EZ Link feature, you need to establish parental consent and select a preferred streaming service that the EZ Link will use to access content. Once the feature is enabled, please leave EZ Link Setup App open to allow the EZ Link feature to operate.This is a one-time activation.
