Geyser Gecko

I really wanted to like this app, but it has too many basic usability problems to recommend. Login issues are a dealbreaker. Why does the app only allow one login at a time? If my partner and I both want to check the geyser, one of us gets booted. On top of that, it logs me out constantly — what's the point of having an app if I have to re-enter my credentials every time I open it? A connected device app should let me glance at it in seconds, not turn every check-in into a login session. Slow and clunky to navigate. Every startup takes around 30 seconds just to reload the devices. It's also not at all obvious that you have to tap the system to see any details — I only figured it out by accident. Basic UX discoverability is missing. Graphs are a mess. They're clunky to interact with, and the average user has no way of knowing that "0" means off and "1" means on — there's no labelling or legend to explain it. And the savings graphs are flat-out wrong, which is a serious problem when the whole selling point of a smart geyser controller is showing you how much you're saving. For an app that's supposed to make managing your geyser easier and help you save money, it does the opposite: it wastes my time, frustrates me every time I open it, and I can't even trust the numbers it shows me. Needs serious work.

Love the geyser gecko device. The app is good but could use some improvements. When the the gecko is offline could the page with the temperature / modes page still appear showing you your last temperature reading rather than going to the performance history graph? When it comes back online it then automatically updates the temperature. I also find that my app tends to lose connection often.
