soo im nonbinary and i've had a few other period apps before that either gender the whole app or charge for basic period tracking features. i would prefer to have an app tracking for me so i don't have to get a calendar and calculate everything myself. this app allows tracking features and even reminds you to change/remove your product after a certain amount of time if you log it, which is helpful to me because i often forget to change my products. i like the inclusivity too because it allows different gender options and you can customize what you're trying to track (personally i just use it for period tracking) and the paid version of the app isn't constantly shoved down my throat. some apps i've used in the past didn't let me use basic features unless i paid and i would have to search for other apps. i used flo for a while but i heard about their use of peoples data for some reason so i wanted to switch. i think over all Orchyd is the best period app i've had because it's easy to use and free.

i just got orchyd after seeing an ad for it, which usually I don’t do but I saw “no subscription” and jumped at it. I have really really liked this app. Not only is the actual app design, interface, features, tools, etc of the app great, but I really liked the whole concept and approach to the creation of this app. I just want to say that I REALLY appreciate you providing women with a FREE way to safely track their cycle. And now after seeing and reading the information posted on orchyd’s official instagram about user data NEVER being sold, I like y’all even more now that I know that you ACTUALLY care about keeping my data about MY body safe and private. it’s actually so relieving having a period app that feels like its made by actual real women that genuinely care about other women, especially given everything that’s currently going on with our rights. Seriously. Thank you.

Saw an ad on social media and after having struggles with other tracking apps, i thought “what they heck, why not?” and downloaded it. It’s been wonderful!
It lets you customize your goals for the app and put in your gender, which had been a grating point for me with other apps.
I do wish that certain health questions could be answered for free (maybe a FAQ), but even with that the price for consultations with actual doctors isn’t insanely high.
It would also be cool to have an anonymous chat like Flo has, but I understand that the logistics of running that and keeping it comfortable for everyone can be difficult.
Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this app for anyone who feels worn out or uncomfortable with the data sharing of other apps!
