Awesome app put out by awesome people. Really cool to see all the detailed weather data too. I’m looking forward to them hopefully gathering data to eventually tell us where rainbows most frequently occur, what times of the year, time of day, etc. I’d have to say - late afternoons over Manoa valley ... haha. And if they start gathering more data in other places we can eventually come up with the WWRR “World Wide Rainbow Rank”! And you could even add intensity factors, probability of seeing double rainbows, largest diameter, width, etc. Calculate the area of each rainbow, add it all up over a period of time, and you can tell us the yearly square meters of rainbows produced per location. Wow! Endless possibilities, And maybe hawaii can eventually claim to be the number one rainbow maker in the world! Now I’m so curious. But be sure to add Okinawa. I recall seeing 20 rainbows in one day traveling around that island. Mahalo to all those that made this happen!
