App Profile: Brompton Electric

Looks like a good start, but I don’t have a Brompton Electric (yet). I just wanted to see how the app worked as I consider the bike. There is no demo mode. Once you create an account, the only option is to add a bike. Additionally, I unintentionally typo’d my last name while creating the account. Neither can I can find an option to change any of my profile settings, nor can I delete the account. Nothing on the Brompton web site, either. I don’t think that meets GDPR.

I second the comment by another user that an Apple Watch app to modify the assist level would be fantastic. There is not much room on the bike, with the battery in front, for a phone and water bottle holder, so using the Apple Watch to ‘offload’ would be ideal.

I don’t use the app a ton while riding. I do reference it from time to time and appreciate the service reminders and log. Would LOVE an Apple Watch version for adjusting assist level. Same sort of interface as on phone, just a quick swipe in the wrist would be fantastic.
