Business Card Scan & Save

This scanner isn’t perfect, but it does open up a contact so that you can type in details easily or correct details that the scanner has captured. It recognizes phone numbers as well so for free I’ll take it.

There just isn’t a business card scanning app that works the way I want. I want it to get the OCR perfect, automatically sync to my contacts, and keep images of all the cards to help jog my memory. This app does none of that, but it is still the best app going as of January of 2024. It does focus on getting names and numbers into my phone’s contacts. It does quick and dirty OCR and makes pretty okay guesses about which information should go where. It’s fast and easy to correct its imperfect guesses. If I could add one feature, it’d be automatically saving the photo of the card to my photos.

I’ve been searching for an app that would use on device ML to import business cards directly into contacts - finally there is ONE and this works well! Lightweight, fast and seems very accurate from testing. Nicely done, hope to see it get built out even more!
