I love the concept of the VC-500 printer but past apps fell short of ease and automatic functions. I have limited my use of the printer because of some of the pain in using the app, but with this new app, so far, I LOVE IT! I just did one print with the 2” where I just wanted a photo label of a specific technical chart I sometimes use! I set it to vertical and then imported the photo. It automatically centered and readied it for print right away. I was blown away. I will be using this print tons more now! I FIRMLY BELIEVE THEY GOT ALL THE FEATURES RIGHT WITH APP. I am sure there will be more functions I would like to have but it has surpassed a threshold for me to be using the printer tons more! THANK YOU BROTHER.

I need to print 2” x 3” labels that include a paragraph of instructions for my products. The text box does NOT include a way to automatically word wrap it. I now have to insert a hard break at each word so I can get it to wrap and format properly. Now if I have to add a couple of words in the middle of a paragraph then it means reformatting and changing each word break. That takes time. Time is money. Word wrap in a box and automatically fitting text in a text box is a basic functionality of any label program able to print a large label.
This is not a true iPad version. It is the phone iOS version just scaled up. This is lazy programming. Once you have an iPad or iPhone version, making the other version is not that difficult if you have competent mangers making decisions and programmers.
Hopefully this will be addressed in a future version but I really do expect more than this from a company like Brother.
