I occasionally was having issues where it would take several touches to get something to work on my phone. I didn’t know if it was an issue with that particular app, or with my touchscreen was having issues. I was able to drag my finger all the way up and down the phone screen in a “grid pattern” and watch the location of the touch actively change to verify there aren’t any “dead spots” on my touch screen, as well as test taps in different areas, even very light taps to make sure the phone was registering the touch. Verified my screen is working properly and that my issues was with the app

My iPhones been having seemingly random ghost touches, liking videos for me, threatening to share posts and even messing with me typing out a text message. It’s as if it has a mind of its own sometimes. Whenever I noticed ghost touching occurring I will open this app to track it. Using the apps coordinates feature, and touch counter I was able to pinpoint the ghost touching happening only towards the center of the screen by screenshotting each touch. Now I know the physical issue I just need to replace the defective screen.

Sometimes all you need is an App that does exactly what you need - and no more. This is a perfect example. I was traveling abroad in a very humid environment when my iPad touchscreen began not recognizing touches. I needed some way to determine where and how bad my screen touch problem was, and this App does exactly that. Very helpful. Turns out the high humidity was creating a thin film on my iPad. Comes back after a while, but periodic careful cleaning solves the problem. Thank you developer!
