For those who use the JW Library app on more than one device, JWLM is an amazingly helpful tool.
I no longer have to limit myself to using one device as my primary one — the only one where I add notes, highlights, etc. — and then pushing those changes to my other devices. Instead, I can add these to either my iPhone or my iPad, confident that once I merge the changes through JWLM and restore that backup to the devices, every device will have everything.

I just started using JWLM and am very optimistic. As I am just beginning, I have JW Library on my PC, iPad and iPhone so this is going to help a great deal, however, the initial process of syncing in really laborious. In the Merge process, It begins with the comparison between the two backups. I have to select each one individually and this is taking a very very long time. Is there a way to make one backup dominant and make the merge easier; in particular the markers? I get it for the written notes and am happy to be able to select these, but there and so many markers that is is taking hours to select them. Can you help with this please?

Thank you for this much needed tool. One thing I think would make this tool even better is if the file name displayed when doing the comparisons and after you’ve selected a file. It would make it easier to know which change to accept when merging.

The Library Merger allows you to quickly and easily combine two JW Library® backups into one. Simply open both backups in the app (you can even send them via AirDrop). The app will merge them into one. If it finds a conflict (like two bookmarks at the same place, or two markings that overlap), you can choose which version to keep. In the end, you have one merged backup which you can easily restore on your devices. The process - if done regularly - literally takes you seconds!
