I am super disappointed with this synth, I wish I could return it and get my money back. The interface is clunky and feels very old and the over all sound of the synth engine isn’t good and feels very underdeveloped for example when I crank up the resonance instead of the filter self-oscillating it just puts out a horrible glitchy sound that left my ears ringing (I was wearing headphones). I’ve bought almost every synth that’s available on iOS and this is one of the most disappointing I’ve come across. I feel like I wasted my money.
Great sound being able to combine all the available oscillators and layers together. The app can get deep but all the editing is 1 click away with a few minor exceptions being 2 clicks away. The sequencer is pretty straight forward but makes getting ideas out very quick. It can get fairly cpu intensive if you start piling up the layers but the quality of the patches and sounds I’ve got out of it so far make it worth it. As a note, it’s pretty efficient if you are creating more simple patches. Awesome synth.
Watched Doug from infamous sound test room had to get it sounds lovely and appears to be very light on cpu. I will update as I get more use but I know Maple Syrup Studio is trustworthy for updates and bug fixes. I own a few of their effects apps and the level of detail that goes into these are superb.
