Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X

I’m very disappointed with the Yamaha Motorcycle Connect x app. After updating to iOS 26.4, the app is no longer working properly. It either fails to connect or doesn’t function as expected, making it unusable for daily use. This issue has been ongoing, and despite updates, there is still no proper fix. As a customer, I expect better support and quicker resolution for such critical problems. Please prioritize fixing compatibility with the latest iOS version. This kind of experience is frustrating and does not reflect well on the brand.

God forbid you are stuck in a basement parking with bare minimum or no cell reception. Because the app won’t connect nor start the bike without cell data first. I have no clue why, but doesn’t it do 99% of everything via Bluetooth? Why insist on cell network to START the app? It takes a good three minutes for the app to open the first time in the day, and sync with Bluetooth, even though I’ve attempted a reinstall and gone through multiple app updates. The app needs to load faster, and def rely less on cell network…. N MORE ON BLUETOOTH as it’s supposed to. Wish I could give the app five stars, but thanks to this, I’ll only give it a single star.

They should give option to disable this pattern lock. Because in iPhone we have to connect bike manually whenever we starts bike. It’s totally waste of time. Also too many unwanted pop up comes. Also they should give option to clear riding history. Here is some facts : This system dose not check your speed from speedometer. It will count your riding time and distance after that shows average speed. Which may be incorrect. Because if you take stops on signal light etc. It will count that time also. Geo location tracking is awesome.
