Blade Forge 3D

There are many things that would like to say, first of all it’s the game idea. Since you start with a blade and challenge AI to battles with your weapon that you crafted you could change the game. In my opinion you should make it more casual in a way. You might want to consider making it a customer request you make it game, since I think then it would be more fun to make the weapons more fun to craft. Not to mention the ads, although they aren’t too bad I think they pull a punch with them by making all ads about 5 seconds. Again, not a bad game but could be polished.

While the process of making the various weapons can be somewhat mesmerizing, it tends to dangle things in front of you that ruins the experience. Not in a way of money, but in a way of bugs. It shoves an ad down your throat every five seconds, and when i said “dangle things in front of you”, i mean a lot of the various stuff in the game can sometimes be unlocked for free by watching an ad, then most of the time it just fails to load one which is pretty baffling for how much it tends to show you ads. That’s where it should end, but what made me drop this in a heartbeat was when i came across a challenge that gives you 2x the coins after forging better than your opponent. Sometimes it challenges you with a “gold knight” with better stuff than you have. Beat it, bought a weapon mold better than his, built it to perfection more or less and left him in the dust. Then, it just crashes, i come back, no coins, no 2x boost, but it did register that i had bought the mold... so i completely demolish the challenge and then get less than what i started it with because the app just crashes and i don’t get anything after. I don’t want to keep experiencing that if ever and i don’t want ads shoved in my face if that’s going to happen. You can find better apps than this one.

This game isn’t worth the download because, though it might be mildly entertaining, you end up spending more time watching ads than you do actually doing anything in the game. You literally cannot finish one of the steps until you watch an ad. I understand it’s free and they need a way to get paid for their time and effort, but this whole game is just crammed so full of ads and ways to “take advantage” of the next step (progressing from one metal to the next) that it completely overshadows and enjoyment you might get it out of the game. It feels more like they threw something together just so they could fill it with ads to get paid through them and try to dupe people into paying for “extras” that really wouldn’t improve the gameplay much at all. The only reason I didn’t give this one star is I do not want to be one of those people that automatically ‘one star’ something because you can. The game wouldn’t be horrible to pass the time if it wasn’t for so many ads and ways to pay for more things being shoved down your throat. Updated Note: I read a recommendation that we could stop the ads if we just use airplane mode, so I tried it. No ads but you also couldn’t go past level 1, which to finish takes less than two minutes (less than 1 if you’re quick). After that you can’t do anything without an Internet connection, thus without ads.
