Thought Detox

Just wrote and released my thought. It made me feel better getting it out of my head. Really liking this app.

I recently stumbled across this app and have found it to be very useful for keeping thoughts in check or venting about whatever is on my mind. The fact that none of whatever is typed is saved anywhere is reassuring. However there is one suggestion I would like to make for the developers. When the “Release this” button is pressed, the note gets folded and the animation makes it feel like an email is being sent. That animation appears to be contradictory to the fact that nothing is saved. Perhaps a different animation would be better? Maybe the note going up in flames or is shredded instead? Just a more definitive animation for that note not being saved or sent anywhere.

If you find yourself ruminating on a negative thought, open this app, write it down and release it. What you write is disposed of, not sent or saved anywhere. The elegant animation folds it into an envelope and it’s whisked away. It’s surprisingly calming.
