Script Buddy: Actor Rehearsal

If memorizing lines makes you feel like your brain is a half-loaded teleprompter… Script Buddy is the hero app you didn’t know you needed! 🤯➡️🧠💡 Let’s get straight to it: this app is so well designed, it practically deserves a standing ovation. 👏 Sleek interface, intuitive layout, and zero time wasted fumbling through menus. It’s like the iPhone of line rehearsal—but without the monthly payment plan. 🙃 Ease of use? Off the charts. I opened the app, uploaded my script, and boom—rehearsal magic. You can record, highlight, listen back, and run scenes solo like a one-person Broadway show. It’s like having your own rehearsal assistant who never calls in sick or eats the last donut. 🍩🎤 And speaking of scene partners, let’s talk about the developer—because WOW. I had a small question (okay, maybe I pushed a wrong button in a pre-coffee haze ☕️), and the response was fast, friendly, and actually helpful. It’s rare these days to feel like there’s a real human on the other end—but with Script Buddy, the dev is basically your tech-savvy rehearsal BFF. 💌 But the real star of this app? It actually makes memorizing lines fun. Yes, FUN. (I know, I was shocked too.) It turns what used to be a stressful, highlight-pen-covered nightmare into a game you actually want to play. It’s part voice recorder, part AI coach, part confidence booster. 💪🎙️ Bottom line: whether you’re a professional actor, a student in a school play, or just someone trying not to blank out during community theater, Script Buddy will be your new best friend. It’s the kind of app that makes you wonder, “Where has this been all my rehearsal life?” ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 10/10 would recommend. If I could give it a Tony Award, I would. 🏆🎬

I completely love this app. I was using it so consistently to prep for all of my auditions and productions. Unfortunately it’s stopped working due to some bug that Apple needs to fix. I hope they can fix it soon since I’ve been waiting for months now for it to work again. Haven’t been able to find another app like this. It’s perfect for the actor that needs a reader.

I had some initial problems with the app not registering/recognizing aspects of my script but it turns out it was an issue with the .PDF file. Developer contacted me and helped fix it, and just like that the app worked as intended.
