As a veteran diagnosed with PTSD I have found this device very helpful in my search for a sound nights sleep. Data collected daily, when available, is used to better sculpture my sleeping plan. As good as this device is there is a major flaw, data retrieval. Turning off the device upon awakening typically connects to the cloud server and provides you with meaningful data. My experience with this device is data loss without the ability to reconnect to the server thereby loosing that nights data. The second issue is the limited library, especially the hypnosis programs with are powerful tools aiding sleep. Hopefully Phillips will take this device to the next level and correct the flaws. My personal feeling is this could be a very valuable tool for vets like me.

I’ve had the night buds since 2022 and, sadly, they are so amazing that I can no longer sleep without them and I’m ruined for life! But the app…. Just wow. I’m in software and app development and so I get how it works to develop and app. This app hasn’t worked properly since the day it came out. I suspect when Time Mag named them as an Invention of the Year for 2022 that the business got so inundated with new users that it nearly killed them. They weren’t really ready for production, but they had to go full steam ahead anyway. Too much can be too much too soon in the app world. But I never would have guessed that, 2 years later, they app would still be so chock full of defects. Thankfully, for me, I have zero interest in tracking my sleep. I just want the app to phase out my Calm Sleep Story when it senses I’ve got to sleep. It does that. And then I want it to play brown noise all night long. It does that, too. But it’s horrendously glitchy, still filled with defects, and the tracking part is like a broken clock on that it gets it right every once in a blue moon.

Purchased the headphones and find them very comfortable to sleep in, much more then other options out there! Also, I find the app quite easy to use, which says a lot because I’m not quite savvy when it comes to technology, but this app was very easy to navigate!
