It does really well at a lot of things, except (what should be a pretty basic function) syncing your progress to the browser portal. It's pretty frustrating to spend two 4-hour flights working through modules and then see none of that recorded in the browser portal. Downloading the videos is great, and so is the access to the course mp3s.... but your progress doesn't sync.....

I must say, I have experience with different platforms, from Canvas platforms for college to military education platforms, educational and primary education resources, and CTE and other providers. So far, I feel like this platform has given me something far beyond what any other platform has. Most importantly, the material and how it is structured leave no room for confusion—there’s no way to go around trying to figure out what to do, where to go, or how to proceed. Everything is structured in such a way that it’s like a waterfall, so you can easily follow along. You can download the videos from the app on your phone if you don’t have internet, and you can always watch them. The material aligns with the books and with everything you’re doing in the live, hands-on portions. I gotta say, this is the best platform I’ve used so far, and as I integrate this into my first SANDS course, I feel like it’s really setting a new standard.

I don’t understand the negative reviews this app has gotten. It’s a phenomenal tool. It’s been great for the Bachelors program I am going through. I’ve used this app to study 4 of the courses so far, and it’s done everything I could ask for. I can download course videos to listen to while driving, autoplay sections, speed up/slow down videos, bookmark, etc etc. I just really really like that it’s a native UI for the stuff you’d get in a desktop browser on SANS, but now on my phone/tablet!!
