Ampero Control

I really like the midi programming capabilities. I updated my phone and iPad and almost bricked my ampero control. The only way to program it is via the Bluetooth app but no longer works with iOS 26. It would be nice if there was a computer editing program via usb. Luckily I have another old iPhone that still works with the app so my ampero control is still programmable with that. Hope an update is rolled out soon.

Prior to updating to iOS 26, this app worked flawlessly for me. Today, while updating the MIDI configuration for a new processor, the app could not connect to my Ampero Control, saying “Connection Failed, Try Again,” or occasionally I would receive the error message “Bluetooth is abnormal, restart application.” No matter how many times I restarted the pedal, the app, or my phone, it would not connect at all. My wife’s iPhone is still on iOS 18, so as a last resort, I installed the app on her phone and tried again. As I suspected, the connection issue was OS related, as her phone connected on the first try and I was able to program and reconfigure my pedal with ease. PLEASE UPDATE THE APP FOR COMPATIBILITY WITH iOS 26!!!

I’m using the Ampero control with Ampero switch and soul press2 for additional midi control to control AmpliTube 5 max on a newer MacBook Pro with 16g ram and a 1 terabyte ssd. Sometimes it just works. Most of the time it locks up after 20 min or so and has to be unplugged for a few minuets before plugging back in. That usually works but not always. The computer itself continues to function just fine but without the midi foot control.
