I must have misunderstood what this app does. I thought it came with templates in place for each reselling platforms such as Poshmark or eBay. Meaning the fees were already included to make the calculations easier on the user. So that all you had to do was enter item price and list price. It’s unfortunate that I have to manually enter these fee percentages myself EVERY TIME, especially because I don’t know them off the top of my head and I thought this app was meant to make it fast and easier. I wouldn’t even mind if I could make my own templates to use. Would have sent a suggestion to developer, but website wasn’t working and I couldn’t find an email. 🤷🏽♀️ might drop half a star for that as well.
Great tool to quickly calculate margins. One potential added functionality could be a search option by product and recommended numbers for each data point. It could recommend based on platform and or location as well. Example, cost of selling using Craigslist in San Fran CA. If the user is unsure of the rate to enter it could help fill in some of the data with estimates.
Love love love it! As an eBay flipper, I’m always trying to calculate whether or not an item is going to make money. It gets complicated trying to calculate the different platform fees and subtract shipping while keeping the selling price in your head. With Margin makes it extremely simple to type in all the numbers and tell you quite elegantly if it’s a flip worth making! Highly recommend!
