Best cleaning app there is

This app “cleaned” my duplicate contacts by combining multiple contacts with any similarity like a first or last name (e. g. Steve or Stevens) and even disparate text conversations were dumped into one contact! There seemed to be a feature advising a “backup” be made, but there seems to be no way to restore my contacts or conversations. My icloud storage was full and my phone hadn’t been backed up for probably six months or more- so that’s my fault. But is there any way the app can be used to put my contacts back the way it was? AND I STILL HAVE MANY MANY DUPLICATE CONTACTS!
