Perfect tool for organization, especially for storage and moving. I could also see this being really helpful at work - tying documents and photos to things. Definitely a fan of how simple and elegant the app is. Also tags and search make it really easy to find the right label in your library. Sometimes tape has a bit of trouble scanning but then tapping on the image to refocus camera always fixes this. Really cool technology. Big fan of basic/to the point stuff. Definitely recommend.
The tape itself could not be more useful, and the app makes the whole process super intuitive. They managed to make an app that finds the perfect balance between being feature-packed and not being over-cluttered and confusing. It does everything I’d expect and more without throwing off my workflow with extraneous steps. I originally planned to use the tape to keep track of some boxes while rearranging a few rooms, but I just find more and more uses everyday—from leaving myself little reminders to tracking bins in my attic. I already know I’ll be buying a few rolls ahead of my next move!
So hesitated at first because I needed to wrap my head around what the difference was between these and QR codes. Quickly figured it out - these things are QR codes but 10 times more handy. Super easy to use, can hold any type of information quickly, easily shared, and the fact that it’s tape means it can stick or wrap around anything. Not sure why nobody has thought of doing this, but glad they did. This is DIY treasure. Now my suggestion - these guys have to market their capabilities better. If I’d have known about the copy/paste template thing, it would have saved me an hour at least. That’s probably the biggest time saving tool that this product has, but they NEVER mention it on the website. They also didn’t really explain how you can set these labels to private so only you and your inner circle can see the labels. That’s another huge feature that’s awesome and they forgot to mention (unless I missed it). So my recommendation is to tell people everything these labels can do. Trust me, it will be well worth you time. Brilliant product. Agree with the other review - do a Duct Tape please.
