Wow! What a fun game. It’s a totally new way to play crosswords. I love the picture hints. Super fun and really makes me think. It’s definitely a great little break and keeps my mind sharp. I love how I can jump in and just play one turn in a game so quickly. Definitely sharing this one with all my friends! So many puzzles! I really like all the different game modes too. I’ve been playing this game for almost two years now and it’s really great to see how many features the team is adding to the game. It’s clear they really are working hard on this game. It’s always fresh. New thing surprise me. I am totally surprised by their creativity - in a great way. What will they think of next?! Another great thing I’ve been really happy about besides the different word puzzles - is the new customization. That’s so fun! I love seeing some new tile style and thinking “where on earth did that player get that? And how can I get it?!” They’re really fun and vibrant and make the game more interesting. Keep it up team!!!!

I want to start off by saying that I am a “game hopper.” I get bored quickly so typically, as soon as I download a game and play for a little, I’m deleting it the same day. I’ve had this game for well over a year now and I play it seriously every day, even if for only 10 minutes. It has a great mix between challenging and excitement. It keeps me on my toes and I really do think it keeps the brain sharp. However…I have one problem. THE ADS! Ads are a part of almost every game now. I’m used to that. However, this game has an ad after every single turn. Then, the worst to me, is when you’re playing the mini games within the app, like the solo challenge, every couple seconds, an ad pops up. It’s seriously like every 15 seconds and those games can take you up to 5, maybe even more, minutes to do! You know how many ads that ends up being?! It makes me frustrated and I quit every time. They have an option to purchase ad free…FOR A MONTLY PRICE! That, to me, is ridiculous. Any game I have actually felt was worth keeping with ads had an option to remove them permanently. I’d gladly pay to do that, but it’s not an option. I love this game a lot and I’ve even suggested it to others…but I don’t know how much longer I can take these ads without a permanent solution to remove them (and NOT by paying a monthly charge!)

From what I see, you cannot buy ad-free permanently, it’s just for a limited time. (A week at a time, a month, or a year, however long you’re paying.) Why can’t I just pay $3/4 for no ads forever? They are not consistent with the spin and/or watching videos to earn diamonds to earn different tiles. One time you watch a video and it spins to see how many you get. (Limit of 3 spins if you’re lucky.) Other times, you watch the video for a measly 10 diamonds only. (Limits vary.) Now, with the August tiles, I’ve noticed I USED to have like 3 of the tiles in my collection. I don’t have the other 3/4 yet, they are left to earn. But it’s interesting that the 3 tiles I had are no longer in my collection, and I have to save diamonds to earn them back again. That’s how long I’ve been playing this game, a few years. Those were some of the very first tiles I ever got. I wish i could remove the last star I had to give to even make a review. Minor update: looking at the new tiles for October. At least 1/2 I’ve seen and had in the past. Like the mummy wrap with the eyes showing. Had that like 2 years ago. But they stole that back and are making me spend my coins to get them again. The earning of tiles is a jip.
