Woody Cross: Word Connect Game

I played over 2,300 games on this app. And I would buy 4000 points at the price of $5.99 when I needed them. I didn’t mind the ads, although there were entirely too many ads. Even if you complete a game you have to watch an ad and don’t except free letters they are 30 seconds to a minute ads, tiring but I continue to play. This game has a tournament with a top prize of 3000 points. You have to solve more puzzles than other players and the average amount points you receive per game is about 20. The tournament is for 4 days. The day I deleted the game was after a player with no ID name or number had 952 points at the start of the tournament. I message them to see what was going on. This was 4 days ago and they still have not answered me just keep saying they are sorry and they are looking into the problem, they ask for a screen shot I provided it and the Player_ has already won the tournament. I have screenshots of this happening before. I will not be playing this game anymore, I feel cheated.

I appreciate that the creators of this game, while similar to others available, made it far more suited to the user experience. There are ads, but it is an affordable one time charge to get rid of these. Unlike other apps of this kind, Woody Cross allows you to regularly earn actually usable points to continue playing instead of being all about getting people to spend endless amounts of money, or continuously stopping play for endless ads. I love the Daily Quests! By completing the Daily Quest, I can earn enough coins for a couple of free hints a day, or choose to allow an ad to double these points and earn more free hints. I now play this game instead of Wordscapes every day and will continue to choose this one. I have chosen to purchase one of the hints packages when it was on sale knowing that this is a game I will want to continue to play rather than abandon after getting annoyed with continual purchases being the only way to keep playing. The creators of this game clearly realize that appreciating the customer keeps them playing and allows them long term earnings. The only improvement I would suggest is to add a tournament option. A tip to other players - find all of the word combinations that you can before looking at the board. This allows you to earn more coins for bonus words instead of only focusing on the required words to complete the level. More coins = more free hints to keep you going! This game mostly asks for things you have a chance of getting, but has a mechanism to give credit for rare or archangel things if you know extra words at that level. So it’s really fun to be able to move pretty effectively through the game without ending up blocked early on by the game getting too hard too fast. But it also lets you try (as much or as little as you want) for extra words that are in there! I love that combination. Add in the ability to earn some hints for those times when you get stuck, and it all works really well!!! Although there are some ads, the cost for the ad-free version is not high, and either way it’s one of the better games out there!
