Urban Plates

Urban Plates food is so delicious but the manager at the Sunnyvale location goes above and beyond for great customer service. He makes everyone feel welcome and appreciated and always greets you with a warm smile and everything seems well organized and efficient. Very impressive

We love UP and it’s our fav goto. We have been going almost weekly for many years now. They know our name when we walk in even. It’s consistantly fresh, healthy and orderly. The app and plate pass make it so easy to press a few buttons and go.

Update: Can now use ONE partial gift card at a time. Additionally, if you’re in store and have the gift card saved to your payment methods. It is impossible to use that to pay. Additionally the App will not display the gift card number for staff to help. If you try to lookup a gift card balance it brings it up in an external site / browser. Well, it tries to. It failed every time I tried. Beyond this. The app prompts users to accept cookies on EVERY SINGLE NEW PAGE. I wanted to like urban plates but they consistently fail to support their customers or provide an enjoyable experience. Original review: Unable to redeem gift cards if they cannot cover a whole meal. Have a $10 gift card and a credit card on file? Want to use your gift card value up and pay the remainder on your credit card like any sane or competent application? Nope! Urban Plates does not let you do this! Beyond that the app is clunky and online orders are always serviced poorly in person.
