e-Rewards - Paid Surveys

I have had no problem redeeming rewards towards a hotel loyalty program in which I am enrolled, but I have had too many experiences where I completed a survey that was 20 minutes long or longer, tried to submit it at the end where it is obvious I have competed all the questions and qualifications, only to get a message that the the survey wasn’t “a good fit,” and instead of receiving 5 or more points offered, I receive .02 or no points. Also, I will open the app and there are a few surveys that are suggested for me, only to be disqualified for most or all of them. I appreciate the points I have earned and redeemed, but there is maximum time you need to invest to earn a minimum of points. A lot of time wasted.

At first I thought this might be an interesting way to earn a little side cash. But it quickly became obvious that I would spend a minimum of half of the time the survey was purported to take to complete before I would get told I was not a candidate for the survey. This was no big deal on surveys with it at time of four minutes to complete but when you were talking about a survey that was 40 minutes and by the time I was told that I wasn’t viable they had received a whole lot of information for $.25. It came to a head tonight when I knowingly went in for a survey that was going to require a lot of access to my web browsing. When it came time to download the program they wanted me to use I started getting very worried. By the time I had provided them with access I went to several websites that I visit on a regular basis and was denied access to all of them based on the access I had provided this program. We are talking 4-5 sites out if 8 that I visited there , god’s sake! I deleted the software, canceled my account and deleted the program. Would highly advise you not bother.

I Love E-Rewards but hate this app!!! I was excited to see that they finally have an app to use but was quickly disappointed. I thought maybe after using it awhile they would work out some of the bugs. But no. I contacted support through email about issues and eventually a person maybe? responded with a generic cut and pasted response that didn’t answer my problem at all. Thanks Ryan! What a waste of everyone’s time. You cannot turn the phone to landscape mode in surveys where this is required so you have to quit the survey, and lose out on the time and compensation. It wouldn’t be so bad if you could reopen the same survey on a mobile or desktop browser when you have this issue, but you can’t do that anymore either. Also there is no help or contact support within a survey on the app. Also sometimes the survey just freezes and you can’t move forward, again losing out on time and compensation. I wanted to give e-rewards the benefit of the doubt on this however after the customer service response, I believe a current and accurate review was important. So don’t waste your time on the app if you are truly committed and spend a lot of time to surveying. Stick to the website. If you only use it once in awhile it’s probably fine. Also couldn’t they have had the users test the app before releasing it so any bugs could be worked out before you started marketing it to your users?I mean that’s kind of the point of the whole thing. And that’s what the business model relies on for their customers-Gaining insights of consumers…why wouldn’t e-Rewards do the same?
