Coloring Book -Color by Number

On seeing an advertisement for a coloring book, and then perceiving that it is an ONLINE coloring book, I was hesitant. Would I need a stylus? Any special tool? Would I be able to print? How about printing the template and coloring it in “in real life”? Opening it up I understood that no special tools were necessary, the variety was expansive and the subject(s) interesting and, even, beautiful. Then I began to color. The palate is across the bottom of the screen with each color numbered. The numbers correspond to a piece of the picture. The screen can be adjusted to see more and more detail (and numbers) as you enlarge it. But the AI that separated the subject matter into varying hues and shades was a bit too picky at times and too generous at others. Sure, it was sort of fun to watch the picture materialize with each pop of my finger on the screen, but because the AI separated the picture the way it did, it became tiresome, tedious and trying, and I became irritated, irate and stressed. Scrolling an enlarged screen around from one corner to another in all directions of the compass looking for gray-checked areas that require the color I was using is not my idea of relaxing. Granted, some of the stress was taken care of when I understood that once all areas, all numbers were filled with the correct color, that color (number) disappeared, telling me I had only so many colors (numbers) left to fill. Once the picture was completed, a nice little checkmark appears with options to save, share and all standard choices. It is NOT as meditative or as stress-relieving as an actual coloring book and markers or pens or crayons, but for some, perhaps for those who have never actually colored anything in on paper, it qualifies as stress-free and calming. That “life” on-screen like this could qualify as relaxing, though, is generations behind me.

This is the best app for coloring things like I have coler by number and compared to this coler by number is trash I can spend hours on this game trying to earn more hints and it's all I have bean doing on the 3 hour drive to Orlando Florida from fort Myers airport ✈️ you have to get this and if you can see this no that think that some of the drawings are not kid friendly but that may just be me there is nothing wrong with this app and I have never seen a ad in my life on this app I don’t think that there are any ads take it from a kid this is the best app ever if you don’t have this then you are living under a rock and the animal drawings are so cute that it’s hard to believe how cute they are there’s a thing like daily drawings and you can go back years of it so if you don’t play it you can ketchup on what you missed like you can do the ones h the at showed up from before you even had the app.

I’ve been stressed! So everyone kept telling me I needed to wind down in the evenings by coloring. I felt they were being patronizing, so I ignored them. Then last week (it’s been 7 days) a friend recommended this app. I rolled my eyes, but I tried it. I honestly didn’t get the point. I just tap it and that’s it?? I didn’t do anything. But I also didn’t get out of the lines, and the end result is pretty! So I kept on so I could say I tried. Fast forward a week. I’m hooked on it, completely. I’ve colored almost 100 pages, and I love the sharing option. It annoys people, but that’s okay. lol Every afternoon and evening I’m coloring and I’m getting badges and hints and I wonder why I didn’t do it before. Especially the pages that have the special colors. It’s gorgeous! And free!! These things aren’t free on other coloring apps. This is the one! My family would have laughed me out of the house if I’d told them to color with me. But one by one, they’ve started because they can see I love it. I listen to audiobooks while I color so now we ALL listen and color. Yes, they have ads. Yes, they get annoying, but it doesn’t interfere with your coloring. Most ads are only 5 seconds. Some are 30 seconds but that’s when you’re getting something from it. But yes, I’d pay 5.00 to have them gone. But that’s not an option, so I’ll take it. 100% recommend for all ages. Have fun!
