Houston Audio GPS Driving Tour

It’s a pretty long tour. I would appreciate some more tour guide humor and some more stories. :) “Click to read more” doesn’t work since I was driving. Alumni Dr sign at Rice U has a different name on the sign when turning. One turn wasn’t activated. More info is needed on this tour. Sports teams, restaurants, shopping barely mentioned. The author should check out “Maui Revealed” tour for Good examples. You should break up the city into smaller tours with more info.

I didn’t have as much trouble following it as others did probably because we did it early on a Sunday morning when there was little traffic, so it was easier to go slow and stay in the middle to cut right or left quickly. Enjoyed learning some new tidbits about Houston. If it would sync with the car gps… then it would be great. Also, I listened to it prior to going so that helped me recognize street names prior to needing to turn there.

I was not really expecting to find a self guided tour of Houston. I just searched for it on a whim and I found this! After weeks being home bound, it was nice to drive around Houston and enjoy the history of the city from the safety of my car.
