I followed the instructions. First time it said error. Second time it gave me a wildly inaccurate measurement. I was measuring my Apple TV remote and it told me it’s 29394 cm long.

The audio ruler is a new way of measuring distances. Unusually to other apps, the measurement process is based on the sound. Specifically, the distance traveled by a sound way from point A (phone speaker) to point B (earphones).
