Update 7: posting negative review causes app magically to work! Leaving magic negative review in place solely for this reason. App works (at best!) sporadically! In no way reliable at all! Update 6: app legitimately broke RIGHT AFTER I UPDATED REVIEW with positive / less crappy app performance info. Now app is again DOA. NOT FUNCTIONAL AT ALL. Downloaded data will not sync to watch. Button is greyed out/inactive. Update 5 working much better recently. I’ve been able to sync tide data without issue for the last several attempts. Upd.4 finally able to sync today (end of May) after weeks of multiple daily sync attempts without any success. Upd.3: App no longer working. As of Mid-May 2023: Updated data has download (a week ago) but transfer to apple watch longer works (multiple daily attempts every day this week have proven fruitless). Without new data this app is pointless! (Update 2, 5/23: downgrade rating because app won’t sync anymore making it useless. app was very helpful when it worked, despite annoying invasive ads in app, but useless all other times. Update: increased to 3* instead of 2 following numerous attempts with errors, data finally sync’d right after 2* review posted, watch complications still not updating but clicking blank compl. links to new tide data: UPDATE 2023: BROKEN AGAIN, no longer working!). Decent app, when it works, but this app usually won’t sync for a few days after tide data expires. (Even if you already have the new data downloaded). It would be far more useful if data could always (automatically) be reliably sync’d up! But it’s still pretty decent, when it works, if it ever does catch up (usually after a few days). There appears to be no rhyme-or-reason on how to get it to actually sync up. Restart, update app and/or OS, remv. reinstall, doesn’t seem to matter. App just does what it wants. 🤷‍♂️. Nothing! As of May 2023: App no longer working. No longer updated by devs. Dead app.
