Reviews: What People Think About FAC Phazer

Just grab this phaser and start using it. The presets alone are enough to add another level to your audio tracks. Whether you want something subtle with a slow rate and shallow depth, to an exaggerated and saturated depth with a slow or wacky fast rate it will add color to your audio in a musical way.
I noticed recently that this dev had refunded my purchase of the previous drumming app. I only had for a short period of time until it disappeared. But I got some confirmation of a refund (pretty sure anyway), which is a 5 star move.
I still intend to acquire the newer available drumming app however. It’s a little more $, but I want everything these days?

i’ve never been interested in a phaser before, but when i saw FAC designed one i knew it would change my mind. the sound you get from this, especially combined with alteza, are far better than i originally expected. the butterfly graphic that shows you what is happening is genuis and really lets you see how you’re sculpting your sound, it is more than what i’d ever expect from a phaser and brings new life to an older effect. you can sweep and swell your sound into new areas and get some great movement on pads, soundscapes as well as. bass and leads. don’t hesitate on phazer, it is going in my top 10

Let me preface by saying I was never a fan of the phaser effect. Maybe that’s because there has never been a great phaser on iOS. That has now changed with Phazer. This is really bringing to life my pads and chords in ways that I couldn’t imagine, the visual feedback is also very helpful. As always, the sound is just amazing. Well done Fred, not only have you made another incredible plugin but you have changed my mind about Phaser effect.

FAC Phazer will satisfy most fans of phasing effects, seducing them with its rich sonic palette and elegant interface. To achieve the classic phase effect, the original signal is blended with a slightly out-of-phase copy of itself. Altering the timing difference between the two signals produces the swooshing sound characteristic of phasing.
Most phaser units available on the market are built around this circuit topology, each with its own specificities and limitations. Guitar pedals provide a great sonic signature out of the box and are a great source of inspiration, but we often overlook the impressive built-in effects sections of some hardware synthesizers. FAC Phazer combines the best of both worlds into a single plugin, offering access to all parameters involved in crafting the phasing effect.
The design and development were inspired by both pedals and built-in phaser effects found in hardware synthesizers. This led to the creation of four unique characters: Classic, Midori, Step, and Tirus. All parameters can be applied to each of these characters, allowing you to create new, exciting, and outstanding sounds.
The presets Slow, Moderate, and Jumpy Phase Pedal or also Fleur d’Oranger bring the classic pedals sound signature within your reach. If you're seeking more modern characteristics, the Step Sound I preset offers a splendid stepping mode, while the Midori Phase Shift II preset emphasizes the feedback in a unique way. On the other hand, the Tirus Anthem preset is an excellent starting point for exploring phasing effects produced with built-in synthesizer effects.
An important aspect that strongly contributes to the variety of the sonic palette provided by the plugin is the modulation options. The LFO can run in free mode, be synchronized to the host tempo, or be defined by external automation parameters.
