I banded my robot Kevin, at first he was it was a bit quirky, would constantly remove itself from the charger without being fully charged, now it works like a champ. There are times that I have to set it twice to clean as it only has the one brush to push trash around but it’s been a blessing to me and the family to be able to set it where ever I’m at, even if I’m not home I can set it to clean just need to make sure there’s nothing on the floor that it could get stuck out pick up

App doesn’t allow you to empty on command like other apps do. It will only empty after your selected number of cleanings. Also, the app allows you to set custom suction levels for each room, but when you schedule cleanings, the scheduling interface ignores your set suction levels and only allows you to set one suction mode for the entire scheduled task.

Have 5 rescue dogs and I program auto cleaning every single day. You can program multiple cleanings a day if needed. I programed mine to empty after each “area” cleaning. So it allows me to set up “areas”, like 1-3 rooms at a time, and by staggering the time periods during the night, after each area it goes back to home station and self empties. With other robo vacs I have used, they clogged up with hair before the standard 30 minute cleaning period so I was constantly having to manually empty the dirt/ hair compartment. This vacuum cleans my entire downstairs overnight without clogging up. I used shark robo vacuums in the past but this machine has a much more powerful suction and more programming options. Even with 5 dogs, amazingly, the refill bags last a long time due to powerful motor and ability to compact stuff into the bag. And, the refill bags are 1/2 price of many of the ones with bags to replace. This vacuum is worth every penny!!! The only thing that I would tell the manufacturer to improve is the brush roll. On one hand it gets ALL the dust. On the other hand, if you have long haired dogs, the brush roll needs to be removed ( Which is extremely easy to do) to unwind the dog hair occasionally. If they eliminated the BRISTLE type roller and used a roller with rubber flaps only, I think it would self clean like my shark upright vacuum, which I love. However, eliminating the fine bristles may also decrease performance on the dust and fine particle pick up.
