So I’ve had tempo for a while now and I can honestly say it has been amazing. I have trained so much with it, and the trainers are so engaging (even though I have my favorites). I like the body scanning, and how easy it is to set up with my tv. I especially LOVE how they send you an actual PHYSICAL badge when you complete a challenge, so motivating! Makes me pumped to keep working out and joining challenges. However I do have some drawbacks but they arent a negative: the weight recommendation sometimes is inaccurate when I lift too heavy. I also wish once I “schedule” a class, it would actually alarm me at a set time that I choose. It just doesn’t seem to work for me. Also wish that I could see something on the phone of the workouts above that are happening. My tv is above my fireplace, so if im doing core work or a plank lower, I cant see the next move. I have to stop and look up. But otherwise, I LOVE THIS! I now pretty much work out every single day &gt;30 mins. So motivating. Cant wait to see the changes for myself more concrete in a few months after consistency.

First off, the app is horribly designed. It’s terribly organized and hard to find what sort of class you’re looking for. There’s also no way to check off classes you’ve already completed, so you’re left scrolling through a bunch of classes that all are all named some variation of “burn” or “challenge.” As a result, it’s virtually impossible to keep track of what you’ve done in the past. I really hope they add some sort of a tracking feature or a basic check mark, but based on other reviews it looks like they’ve haven’t made any strides. Secondly, the system just doesn’t work. I’ve been mailed 3 new cords by Tempo in the past month because they work once or twice and then fail to connect thereafter. You cannot cast your workout to the tv or a computer without their cord, nor can you just complete the workout from your phone or computer without the visualization feature. So effectively this entire app and system is useless if don’t have a tv and cable (which never works). Whoever thought of this limited functionality should be fired. Not to mention the customer service team is a nightmare and you are sent to some third party call company in another country. In short, avoid this company and app at all costs. They clearly don’t care about feedback or their customers. I’ll be fighting them for a full refund.

My bestfriend told me about Tempo and had great things to say about the results. I was skeptical because I’ve never been the biggest fan of weightlifting (cardio girl here). Tempo has completed changed my mind and started to transform my shape in just a few months. First, there are tons of class options (live and recorded) for whatever you’re in the mood for. The instructors are outstanding and do a great job of giving an overview on the correct form. You can also play their music or your own during the class. The app tracks reps, progress and plans if you select those. After about 4 classes and a lot of sore muscles, I was hooked. If I’m not feeling a weight session, I’ll do yoga or barre instead. So many options and the Core base where you attach your phone is portable. Weights are nicely hidden in a container that looks like a fancy speaker. You’ll be really happy about this purchase. I’ve done this more in 4 months than I went to the gym in a year.
