The scooters are a little expensive. It is a good way to get around the city. Overall I think the GCOO scooters are the way to go. The other companies don’t take as good care of their equipment in my opinion

Downloaded this app because I was out walking on a hot day, and saw a GCOO scooter with an advertisement hanging from the scooter that showed the comparison between Lime and GCOO cost per mile. While GCOO is cheaper per mile, they don’t tell you how much it will cost if you end your ride inside a “gray-zone”. I assumed it would be a $1-2 charge. When I got to my house, the app said it would cost $12 to leave the scooter there. More than twice the cost of the ride itself. I did not and cannot afford to pay that much, so I rode back 2 miles to leave inside a regular drop zone. That wasted an extra 10 minutes of time. It also strained my wrist further because the combination of rattley handlebar and touch-to-push accelerator puts significant strain on your wrist. The speed was also very inconsistent throughout the ride. Annoying ride overall. It seems their business model is to use cheap scooters, and streamline scooter pickup so their drivers spend less time going out of their way to pick up uncharged scooters. This allows them to charge a slightly lower cost per mile and cost per minute than other rental scooters companies. We’ll see how it works out in the long run. Judging from this one ride, I don’t think it’ll work out well.

I ride lime scooters a ton cause i live in a hill and never wanna walk back up, so i know how the typical rental scooters are. and let me say the scooters from these guys were so good it was crazy. they accelerate and go way faster then lime scooters. they made it up steep hills with two of us on it with ease and the price was pretty pretty cheap. definitely recommend these guys compared to the other scooters also, the cup holders are fire too
