Reviews: What People Think About Let's Unmix

I purchased the full version of Let’s Unmix. I have an iPhone SE 2. I am impressed with the algorithm to remove vocals and separate tracks. However for some reason most of the songs I am trying to use, once they are loaded and have been “unmixed” they have blank spots throughout playback of the song. To put it simply, on average of every 30 seconds there are 5 to 10 sec places of silence. I’ve uninstalled the app, reloaded it. I don’t know what else to try. In the demo, I thought it was being caused by a glitch in the advertisements that pop up. But even after buying, it is still doing it. It makes it unusable. Unless you can tell me how to fix this, I would like a refund. 1 star for now, but if this is fixed it is easily a 5 star app. All my music plays with no issue in other apps. *update* I contact the dev and they immediately responded and asked for more details of the problem. After several responses back and forth, they figured out the issue and did an update. It is working perfectly now!!!! This app is exactly what I was hoping for and does what it advertises. I am especially impressed with the dev response to the issue and would purchase from them again. Sent from my iPhone

Like another comment said, I don’t often write reviews for apps, and when I do, it’s mostly only for if I think an app is garbage. But this app actually motivated me to come write a good review. I honestly didn’t really expect this to work tbh, but I said screw it, it’s free to try... and my mind was blown! This dev deserved every bit of my 5 bucks for the full features (export, full song length, etc). Honestly after hearing how well it worked, I would have easily paid more. I’ve been wanting something that does this since I was a little kid but didn’t think it was really ever possible. So here I am, smiling like a little girl on her birthday, plugging in all my favorite songs. And it just works, all you do is load in the song and tap a few buttons. In a world of subpar subscription service apps, this is quality app development, many thanks to the devs!

As the title says, just saying “Thank You”. I will need to explain. A few years back, I ruptured my vocal chords from singing over four hours a night, five days a week. I’ve since had paralysis of my vocal chords. I can still talk, but I am not able to sing like I used to. I’ve also lost 50 percent of my hearing and now have permanent tinnitus from the years of playing music in loud environments. In short, I gave up my music for a number of years, and developed severe depression as a result. This app helped me want to start playing again. Knowing that I would never be able to sing again the way I used to, I decided that, as long as I could still play and have somebody else sing, I would be ok. What better way than to play and accompany the original artist. I use this app every day to just play to the thousands of songs I have stored in my brain, acting as “the band” to the original recordings. And while nothing is “perfect”, for the price that this app was, literally saved my sanity and my life. THANK YOU for not being a ‘subscription’. I know that you could charge that, but I’m nothing but thankful that you didn’t. Blessings to you. You will have no idea how this app helped save me.
About Let's Unmix
Effortlessly Isolate and Control Your Music Tracks!

Separate any song into individual tracks like vocals, drums, bass, piano, and other instruments with ease.

Once separated, you can save and export these tracks to other apps, including your favorite DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations). Customize your playback by adjusting the volume and panning for each track independently, or even change the playback speed to suit your needs.

With the waveform editor, it's easy to select specific regions for playback or export, giving you full control over your audio.

Import your music directly from the Media Library, other apps, or cloud services like iCloud, Dropbox, Google Drive, and more.

We support a wide range of audio formats, including mp3, m4a, ALAC, AIFF, FLAC, and WAV. Export your edited tracks in m4a, ALAC, AIFF, MIDI, or WAV formats.

For the best experience, we recommend using music files with a 44.1kHz sample rate (CD quality). All exports are set to 44.1kHz to ensure consistent, high-quality audio output.
