Miniature Painter Pro

Obviously it’s a niche interest app but in turns of user experience and actual value added it’s one of the best I’ve ever downloaded. Occasionally confusing UI is my only critique. The developer pushes updates regularly with new paint ranges and keeps adding features that I never knew were missing from my life and yet make my painting projects easier to plan out and troubleshoot. I say it’s one of the best I own because you can tell he knows his market - I can’t believe how often he adds new features that are innovative, shockingly useful, and completely new to the app; doesn’t have that feeling a lot of corporate apps have of throwing superficial “improvements” at the wall that nobody wanted or asked for and calling it innovation. If you need an app like this for your hobby I think you will be impressed by this one, and the developer really deserves you springing for the paid version, which I hope you will.

This has been an amazing app to use. It quickly became my go to app for both my paint inventory and color matching. The ability to save a palette by image is great. I paint a lot of comic style models/figures and it’s great to take a snip of a picture and be able to match the colors on the fly. And if I do t have the proper color it tells me what colors to mix. Absolutely amazing. I use it on every project. 5 stars for sure. I’d have given more if it was an option. I don’t ever really spend money on apps but I had no issue buying the Pro version of Miniature Painter Pro. ~TheFrayedBrush

Great app. Easy to use and helps take a lot of guess work out of which paints to use. As instructed, here is feedback on your calibration picker…on my iPad, when you enter the paint name, it brings up the paint but when you hit CALIBRATE it doesn't do anything but go back to your image. Also, even though I have Tamiya in my collection, it never shows up in image color picker. I tested an image with straight BLACK and Tamiya does not show up.
