Idle Air Force Base

The basic loop is to spend money upgrading your base to make more money or get access to better planes. These upgrades get more and more expensive as you progress. Pretty standard F2P fare. However, even though the higher tiers or aircraft cost exponentially more resources to get, they don’t actually increase your power. What happens is that certain map locations require certain planes to attack, you can’t send more under-tiered planes or fewer higher-tiered planes. So the planes are just a wait timer and resource sink- there’s no strategy or skill involved. Periodically you’ll start hitting a new map location type and not have the proper aircraft yet, so you’re stuck farming for however long to unlock it before you can do anything further. Currently I need a plane that costs 107 trillion to unlock, and I get ~250 billion per 2 idle hours (the default idle cap). That’s ~835 hours of idling, during which there really isn’t any game to play. There’s premium spends of course to speed things up, but even the $10 purchase to double income would still put me at 400+ hours with nothing to do. And there’s still a number of aircraft left to unlock after this one…

I know everyone complains about this, but this game has WAY too many ADS! WAIT WAIT DON’T SCROLL AWAY YET! I generally only write a review if I hate the game, or love the game, so this is a first. So in this game you get to upgrade an Air Force base and do a ton of fun stuff like upgrade and fight wars, but EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU UPGRADE SOMETHING, THEY GIVE YOU AN AD IMMEDIATELY AFTER. That’s right, every single time. One trick that I use to stop this is by turning my WiFi off, meaning they can’t play ads. Except they can do two rare things. Either require the game to run on WiFi even if it isn’t multiplayer, or play recorded ads, which is much rarer. This game has recorded ads. And all over the side of the screen they say. WATCH THIS UNSKIPPABLE AD AND GET A SMALL REWARD! I don’t need to say more on THAT topic. Next, your info probably isn’t safe. When I came to write this review I noticed that at the bottom they didn’t give a privacy policy, but are required to in the next update. Well NOW they prob won’t update it so they don’t have to give a privacy policy. This game had a lot of potential, but these stupid developers ruined it.

So.. THIS GAME IS THE BEST!!! I love this game! It’s so fun, not like those other idle games, there is a point to build. To win the war! But it can be hard to start out... And two other things, first of all I would like when your building a plane there should be a “workspace” where your crew build the plane. Another thing is that instead of the planes being in each other when they take off or land make it one-by-one. I hope you look into my suggestions and do something, but it’s ok if you don’t this is the end of my review! See you later!! 🤗 And also when the game means by 5 light ground units it means 5 light squads of ground units, this is for other people. Oh and when the game says “5 light ground units” The game means “5 squads of light ground units.”
