This app is amazing. It seems to have every feature I can think of including a connection to the car for charge level and location. The problem that keeps me from using it is very out of date data about the charging infrastructure in the region (NW USA). Once that is fixed I would use the app for every longer trip

This app gives you recommended places to stop and charge up en route to your road trip destination. It provides time estimates for fill ups at fast chargers, at their exact locations along the way. It’s still missing info from some makes and models, but it’s not wildly off — fo example, if the vehicle is a 2017 vs 2019. I like that route directions can be passed off to Google Maps for Apple Car Play. I wish I could integrate my car’s exact battery status via API — that would be a future enhancement option.

Fails to connect or communicate to the EV.
It keeps crashing with the error message, “There was an error while loading your vehicle” on CarPlay.

EV Navigation is a turn-by-turn navigation and route planner system, created for electric car users all around the world.
EV Navigation does not only provide users with a reliable navigation system, including charging stations, but it is also capable of calculating the range the users can cover with their individually selected electric car.
The range calculation takes a wide variety of parameters into consideration (driving habits, tire pressure, weight, wind, temperature, etc.), so that users have the opportunity to plan their trip precisely, anticipating the waiting time needed at charging stations.
We support each type of charger (Supercharger, CCS, CHADEMO, Type 2, and all others). Charging times and the planned routes are synchronized and calculated in parallel, so that the users can spend the minimum time in waiting, while being granted a safe and the fastest possible route to their destination.
