Edifi - Christian Podcasts

I appreciate the Christian community offered here, I even find the emails which have regularly popped up in my inbox intriguing and non too frequent or invasive but I don’t use the app for one very critical reason. It offers no options to increase the playback speed. This day in age being able to scan an audiofile is popular given the tremendous amount of non essential verbiage. However for people with certain learning disabilities and fast brains/listeners like me it is essential. I get bored listening to Conversation at normal speed, my mind wanders and I find difficult to focus. When I can listen at one and a half to 2 1/2 patient even three times speed with slow talkers I can focus and learn more than I could at normal speed. This app offers no function which allows me to do that and I’m pretty close to deleting it because most of the podcast I’ve listened to have slow speakers and I find it tedious and therefore uninformative and uninterested which is a shame because there’s some good contact here unfortunately people like me find it more cumbersome i’m looking for diamonds in the rough with a pic and shovel sans sifter. It’s just not worth my time.

Update: I was finally contacted and after some initial confusion, everything was worked out and all of our podcast were added to the app. They have responded to emails and have improved their response times. If you are looking for Christian and theological podcast, the Edifi app is definitely something you should check out. Changing my rating to 5 stars I absolutely love the idea of the app however, I have tried to contact the people at Edifi about 20 times and I cannot get any kind of response. Not even an electronic reply saying your message has been received. We have a number of podcast. Theology Central VBC VBC Bible Institute The Non Catholic Catholic All of our podcast are available on every podcast app on planet earth except for one, Edify. We would just like to have our podcast added and be able to point all of our listeners to the Edify app. However, no one from Edifi will respond in any way shape or form. Podcast apps need podcast. So responding to a podcaster who is reaching out to you seems like an important detail for your future success. Please contact me. I 100% understand if you choose not to have out content on your app, it’s your platform and you can decide what you have or don’t have. I am just asking for a fair consideration. Thank you
