Alexa is helpful to especially because I’m 73 years old. It’s not just that she’s helpful in reminding me of appointments or providing the weather report each day, but also calling 911 for medical help. Today I learned that Alexa can detect how many times each night I stop snoring. That’s great since I did want to have a sleep study to determine wether or not I have sleep apnea. The fact is, even after sleeping 8-10 hours, I wake up exhausted; a symptom of sleep apnea. In addition, I can listen to the podcasts, music, the news just to name a few things. I’m going to explore how I can pair my lights, TV, or coffee maker with Alexa so that I can turn the on them on or off in the other rooms, all from the comfort of my bed.
