Coronation Street

This is a neat little game that really gets me thinking about words. I can totally hear William Roache reading the dialogue. I will say, though, that I wish I was further along in the show, as I’m obviously finding out a lot of spoilers (currently on the 1980 episodes). Still, for fans of Corrie, this is a fantastic little addition to the App Store.

I like the game it is really fun. But I don’t like how long it takes to load. And I speak English and I really don’t like getting commercials in Spanish it is rather wrong. It’s not my language and I got a bunch in a row for an entire day that seems a little extreme. I would give you a higher rating but it takes a good 20 minutes just to start up the first time in the morning. And then when you go back through the day it still always takes time.

For little snippets of dialog and the ability to decorate the street, it’s fun. The puzzles can be a bit tedious; I’d put the coins on the Corrie related words. Agree with an earlier reviewer, I wish we knew how many tasks were remaining for any given day. I’d also like the ability to change choices down the road. For example, the rug I already chose doesn’t look right with the sofa chosen a few turns later, so for a star or two, I’d like to click on the rug, be asked if I’d like to change it, and be able to make the change.
