This is the perfect app to work on playing from various positions, bets+, all while gaining a better understanding of the different decisions you can make that lead to the best +EV choices throughout specific hands. Not only can you work on your +EV decisions for multiple hands and various spots from your opponents, you can alter and choose which variables that are causing the most damage to your game and work on those specific situations. Whether it be a MTT, Cash, HU, etc. Then you can refine it more with the specific action type of the hand, SPR, Limp, 3bet, 4bet, BvB, while further narrowing the stack size from 8Bb – 200BB. This app has a lot of great tools for further study to shore up any specific leaks and to help make those specific +EV choices when they are called for second nature when playing in real life. Whether online, a Casino or a home game this app can and will definitely help if you put the work in. Btw, should any questions arise at any given time the customer support is excellent. Not only do they actually respond, they respond promptly and give great feedback to any questions or concerns about the app that may arise. Quick shout out to the customer support rep Ila for helping me out recently with a situation I myself was dealing with. Thanks again for all of your help. If you haven’t yet, I highly recommend you checking out this app along with their other apps Poker Drills and the Pre Flop app. You definitely will not regret it if you are serious at plugging up leaks and making better +EV decisions at the table for a multitude of games.
As someone who is starting to dive into GTO, this app is a great companion to books on GTO strategy. The only aspect that is sometimes confusing to me is the rating system. If two actions have the same EV, why is one “ok” and one “perfect”? It seems maybe it favors aggressive actions over passive actions when EV is same, but could be wrong. Anyway great app and look forward to continued use.
Not sure about this. How do you put multiple players on “ranges” in a MTT when players are coming and going and tables are changing constantly? You are supposed to just “guess” what “range” they are playing in? And in the EV practice rounds for instance I had A-x and the flop comes out A-J-J. This was the one where there’s a little yellow section in the villains box that shows you his “range” which you would not have in live game of course because this is practice. It showed jacks were in his range so I put him on possible set. But anyway I made a bet which it rated as “ok” on the turn and villain calls. When assessing the board I felt like check fold was best but the app said I should push all in for this “positive EV” thing. Well when all said and done you can see what villain had and he had pocket aces full of jacks which would crush me and probably knock me out of the tournament. But I’m supposed to go with this because it was a “ positive EV” move? I’m not really catching on to this stuff. I like regular pot odds and intuition and use a tight aggressive style over all this ESP putting player on fantasy ranges that I don’t know and against multiple people I’ve never played against.
