PVMahjong: Mahjong Tutor

Can’t for the life of me, figure out how to take the discard tiles and put them together with ones in my hand.

I really enjoy playing your mahjong game—it’s both fun and engaging! However, I’ve noticed an issue that has affected my gameplay several times. There currently isn’t a clear separation between the cards in hand and the down (melded) cards. This has led to confusion where I accidentally change my winning tile, thinking I have better options, only to realize too late that the set I relied on was actually part of a down card. As a result, I end up losing games I could’ve won. I strongly suggest updating the game to include a clearer visual distinction between hand cards and down cards. This would make gameplay smoother and help players avoid costly mistakes. Thank you for your attention—and for creating such a great game!

If you already know the rules of 4-player Mahjong, this app is good for practice. The app appears to use 136-tile Chinese rules. The app is fully functional, but it could use some polish (e.g., animations, explanation of the tutor-recommended move).
