This is the most fun app I have found for playing around with manual settings. The Auto mode works well but the target audience for this app will probably be people who want more control over aperture, ISO, shutter speed and focus. If you are struggling with getting away from Auto mode on a DSLR this app may make it a little simpler to learn. For those who seldom use Auto mode on their cameras this is a fun app. It’s a bargain. Glad I found it.

The other apps from this developer have been helpful in confirming techniques I’ve learned from my many photography lessons over the years. But this one lets me use those in real time so I get the perfect shot every time. I’ve been using the manual settings to practice by then comparing my preferences to the auto settings for each shot. The app engages you to interact and play around with all of the buttons and sliders. A real camera can be intimidating to someone new to photography and sometimes you might mess up the settings when you press some button you don’t know too much about. This app has an auto mode and manual mode so you can either trust the settings made by your phone or try to alter the settings yourself for some more artistic shots. Cool app!
