As someone with accommodations at college due to my vision related disabilities, this software has been invaluable. I was able to get the free version initially last year through my school, but I’ve opted now to pay for the updated and upgraded features because I find them so useful. I wan to support this company. In particular, I appreciate that unlike a lot of other software out there, natural reader is able to read textbooks where the layout is two columns on the same page and it reads it in the correct sequence rather than just across the page. Recently when I purchased the upgraded version, I was able to create a custom version of my own speech to read to me and I find that very soothing. It actually really sounds like me. In last year, they’ve added a lot of features and I’m very impressed. Thank you so much for making reading and note taking so much easier for me. And for doing the same for so many others. Highly recommend this software. I use it on both my iPhone and my iPad. Functions flawlessly in both places. Use the online version on my MacBook too which is seamlessly integrated.
Over the past few months the feds have come into my device and deleted investigations work into corporate and government corruption. They have access to all the apps and are blocking services, deleting files, hiding scattering files anything they can do to disrupt you from sharing the truth with the public. they deleted all the work in my emails, and alternative cloud servers like Mega. Big tech wants to force everyone to use their cloud and anybody who doesn’t is ruthlessly attacked in their phones, glitch or have problems. Right now I can’t even get the app to open. I wrote a letter to Chuck Grassley, declaring myself a whistleblower in reference to Arctic frost operation that’s targeting conservatives. on 16 September, Chuck Grassley announced whistleblower has exposed, arctic frost. They’ve turned off my cell service and silenced me across the Internet. i’m being denied medical care my finances constantly turned off, messages were sent to my trash pick up not to pick up my trash. this isn’t law-enforcement. no one should have these capabilities. attempted to file an SF, 95 for the damages they’ve caused and they came into my phone, my devices, and deleted all the evidence. some of this evidence shows that their agency has committed treason! I currently need medical help and I’m being blocked by AI who sends messages via MER pop-up prompts not to help this patient.
I use this app to voice over long readings while I take notes and read along and I feel a massive improvement in my memory because of it. There is a vast majority of voices, but I typically use Adam (US) because it feels academic. I think the options are a great feature for people who are looking to diversify their experience with text-to-speech because in some way, it can feel like a professor or a friend talking to you about the thing they’re reading on a personal level. Not only that, the voices are absolutely natural. There may be a few cuts and glitches between the breath of the voices, but I find them unnoticeable and mostly to do with the way sentences are structured. Some longer sentences will have the voice reading from tone to another at the end of a few words. I don’t if I’d fault this to the AI, but I don’t find it too bothersome as long as I’m reading along. It can get a bit confusing if you’re just using the text of something with all the images that may have just pasted their titles. For a student, you might find this a bit expensive ($20) if you don’t have a source of income. Other than that, great app! Extremely useful for my academics.
