Glass City Card Controls

Download at your own risk! Demands a cell phone number...like it or not. No control over IF it texts you or how much it will. App sent text messages, even when alerts were disabled, called glass city to have it disabled and deleted the app, still getting them. Having to block them through my phone carrier now. EVERY OTHER card company lets you choose where your alerts are sent to. Why can’t Glass City?

The app has allowed me to put alerts on all ATM transactions on both my debit and credit card, as well as transactions. It lets you put travel notices on your cards and you can de-activate and activate your card as needed. I love it! The app stays updated on my available credit for my credit card, compared to the home banking app they offer. I love the accuracy and the easy navigation. Haven’t had any issues since creating a login.

(Running app on iOS on iPhone XS Max). Recently, Glass City dropped support of the Securlock Equip app that did what Glass City is intending this proprietary app to accomplish. Execution in the early stages of this apps development is lacking. The arguably best feature of these apps is to set up instant notifications when something hits your credit or debit card, to know in real-time whether or not your card has been compromised, or in some cases, merchants charge you more than then they said they would. THE GC APP HAS A NOTIFICATIONS SETTINGS SECTION FOR THIS BUT WHEN YOU TRY TO ACCESS IT, IT IS A BLANK SCREEN. Real-time notifications on pending charges can not be set up in this new app. You can only see what’s happening on your card by going into the app, so unless you’re going into the app every minute, you’re allowing time for thieves with your stolen card number to spend as much as they can until you decide to go into the app, discover it, then lock the card! Please fix this ASAP Glass City! I miss SecurLock Equip, because although it was glitchy, it saved me from these such charges because of their capable notification settings!
