On an iPhone 16 pro max and it does not recognize the pin I got from the card shop. Feels gimmicky. No feedback from the app to indicate that it is failing. I changed network (WiFi to cellular) since the website mentions needing a network connection. You’d figure you can use the front camera too but no option. Gave it one star since there is no account needed.

The AR app itself is incredibly simple to use. Albeit, there does need to be ample lighting for the AR target to be captured. As far as the AR itself goes, I do wish more recent releases had more thought out animations like most older pins do. That being said, some newer pins have more interactive features than older pins such as lore along with DLC. A few pins even have functional elements such as a working D20 and a pin that is used in conjunction with a tabletop mystery game. When interacting with AR it would be neat to enable haptic feedback to enhance the experience when selecting elements of the AR. Would also love to be able to log my collection in app and even make purchases. All in all, solid app that has a lot of potential in enhancing the pin collecting experience.

Was gifted this beautiful for winning a game wait no second place as my buddy kitt was super good hearted and said John what do you want more the pin or the life counter I said the pin since I had a life counter and wanted a new pin as I love them and then I find out dam it’s an AR thing!! being the Postive person but reading the reviews I should of not been so Postive but I download and yup doesn’t work so once more fix the app to allow new phones like the iPhone pro 16 max above heck even the 12 pro max and up plz and I’ll redo my review
