It’s a great app very easy to use once you get the hands on experience. I love the black and white minimal textile it’s easy on the eyes and feels great. Moving around the app is as simple as a physical one. I’ve gone through my fair share of calendar apps especially as an engineering student and moving around internships, things can get a bit out of hand without a good to do list and this app has it. It’s great and I wouldn’t change anything
Even the most quintessential master pieces have faults and It’s quite sad that there is a major fault in this app and it’s that the calendar view glitches.. always.. and especially when trying to add a list of reminders and checklists. The calendar itself goes blank with no feedback and you’re left to force restart the app. It gets frustrating after a couple times but I’m sure the developers are on the clock trying to fix the issue itself.

Thank you so much for making this app it’s beautiful. If you can implement work shifts into this that would be amazing. I work all three shifts and OT. I can either come early or stay later for any amount of time.
Also can you implement a solid color box around the input words. For example if I work mornings I can input Morning and the color box would be yellow. Afternoon could be Orange and Night could be Blue. So they look good side by side throughout the week. On my day off it can be OFF in green box. Something like that.
On OT it can do the same for example Morning 6AM-2PM yellow box and below it OT 2PM-6PM red for OT in a color box so if I do the OT everyday then it will look even at that time throughout the week on the app.

Nice and clean.
The Monthly interface is clean, easy to read - but lacks the ability to change the row depth. For instance if I have 5 or 6 events on a single day, I'll see 3 or 4 events and then a notation below that says +2.
I would like the ability to auto expand the row depth to show X amount of events. Everyone else is hooked on the concept that the whole month must be viewed as a whole without scrolling - not me - those other apps look extremely scrunched on the month view.
I would rather see my monthly events line by line and this app does just that. Love that. Just need a bit more flexibility.
About Calendar by 44
Calendar by 44 is all about two things; speed and clarity. To clearly see what your schedule looks like, and to quickly add events to it. It's based on a seamlessly scrolling collection of months, tightly integrated with a daily list and a new kind of intuitive flow for creating events. It’s small, there are no view switchers and is operated completely from the lower part of the screen.

SUPER QUICK INPUT.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Tap or grab the plus button and drop it on any date to start creating an item. As you begin to type, a preview schedule is shown for the current date. That way you can see what time works best, even while creating.
Scroll the preview to set start time. Drag it to set duration. No need to pick through menus or manually type out the time, though that’s supported too.
Shortcuts lets you select a calendar, a color tag, location and enter notes by typing hotkeys. For example “/” + [notes] or “#” + [color]. This is the fastest and smoothest calendar creation flow we have seen.
MONTHLY DISPLAY.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
The design is based on a seamless, infinitely scrolling monthly view that highlights multiple-day events, includes to-dos, fades out past events, supports highlight by color tag and presents your events in up to three lines to avoid clipping.
Tap any date to open a daily list.
DAILY LIST.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
The daily list shows calendar events right along side scheduled to-dos. It supports quick swipe-actions that let you delete, copy, set color tags and complete to-dos.
TO-DOS.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Any good calendar should let you organize through simple lists and to-do items. Calendar by 44 does this in style.
Other than that we support most of what you would expect, create, edit and delete calendars, create advanced repeat rules, any number of custom alerts, convert events in to to-dos, invite people…the list goes on.
