So I bit the bullet, one letter off from at least three different words to fill every blank for a 100 point bonus and a game win. Bought a $4.99 package of 160 diamonds to make letter swaps that cost 10-diamonds each ... in order to get an “E” or an “S” … nothing exotic like a “Z” or an “X”, just one of the letters that normally pops up in a swap, one of which there’s a large inventory. I made twelve (12) swaps at 10 diamonds each, yup a solid dozen swaps and spent 120 diamonds in all, but no “S” or “E”. NORMALLY the odds are in your favor for either letter to show up … but me thinks the presumably random distribution of letters, even for odds-on favorites get some different algorithm applied when you’ve made a purchase. If anything, your odds should improve with that many attempts. I’ve been playing for a while, favor the instant games vs waiting for opponents to take their turn, and while at enjoy it, the game is downright stingy with their “rewards”: you might receive a whopping two or, wow, three diamonds as a reward (it takes 10 to do anything with them UNLESS you purchase). Scrabble or Words With Friends are far superior games with fewer ads or a greater variety of them. Perplexing that so many game apps have play centered around getting custom tiles or amassing a piggy bank you have to buy to gain access. Wordzee is obvious in its devotion to advertisers by greeting you with an ad then playing it again before you get to play the game. They (Wordzee) ain’t about the game or players, it’s all about the ads - blatantly exploiting and embarrassingly taking advantage of our eyeballs.
I love this game I would give it five stars except for a couple of little things. I’ve been playing this game for quite a while I was already playing when you switch things around and now you get card packs to get tiles. I have been waiting a very long time to get the dragon egg tile and the spell book tile. I have not been able to get anything for the wand for the spell book or the sword for the dragon egg. I have bought several card packs but still don’t have it I need to get either of those tiles. It’s not gonna stop me from playing the game the game is great. My other little pet peeve is the daily challenge. First you got a tile when you did seven days in a row which is good for a start to get people interested. The next one was for 30 days which I think is perfect every 30 days to get a new tile but once I finish the 30 days I found that I have to go another 150 days to get another tile that’s crazy every 30 days would be perfect. If you fix those little things my review would go up to the fifth star because I think this is a fabulous game
From the quality and effects to the gameplay system, there’s so much greatness to this game. However, it seems as though you blatantly rig the player vs computer modes (blitz and showdown) to your advantage, especially when you have the 24 hour timer until the whole game resets and if you lose a game you have to wait hours to play again feature and multiple words not being able to be played. In showdown, you have this very short timer that doesn’t give you enough time to look at your options (in all 3 new letter swaps), mix and match them for the highest points or best placement, and repeat that for 5 rounds each game. You have to try and make the best possible word in a short amount of time whilst the computer player never goes through any trouble and always seems to have a bigger/better word. Then, you have blitz, a game mode where you can actually spend the time to look at all your options, but then again, the computer player always has the better word. For example, I have never seen the computer players have a 6-26 point word, they always seem to have a word with 30+ points on the first round and even more on the higher rounds. Then, when you eventually get the higher word, the computer player comes after and has a word with double the amount. Not to mention the fact that you could have a great word stored in your bar, almost like the game is giving it to you, but you only need one more letter and you swap and the game gives you every other letter but that letter and does not fit. It’s frustrating and unfair and until that is fixed, I will not be playing this game anymore and will remind my friends to not as well.
You can train your brain as you make words, play with friends, and compete in different word games and word game modes in new Wordzee. Show off your...
