With so many competing shopping malls, this app will likely make Paragon become Paragone. Had a complimentary upgrade to the Prestige tier. Took more than a month to get the upgrade because the app kept giving an error, and every time I emailed, it took 2 weeks for them to reply. After 2 promo codes, it finally worked. Deleted my account and used my mom’s number to create another account. Wanted to change it back to my mobile number but then there was a lockout period of 6 months. Then, now that it is after the period of 6 months, I still can’t change it back to my mobile number because it says my previous account is still active. Ah??? I’ve already deleted it long ago, but guess not. Then comes the best part. With the free upgrade which lasts for 6 months, a spending of $10k will extend this Prestige tier for another year. After I met the required spending, I decided it was best to confirm via email that the required spending was indeed met, that my account would automatically be extended for a year, and that I would not have to wait weeks for a reply again. They replied to confirm that the above was correct. GUESS WHAT~!!! When my free upgrade expired, it “downgraded” me back to the basic level. Cherry on top? I’m back to waiting WEEKS for a reply. It’s been 2 whole weeks and the issue is still not resolved. So yes, this app will likely cause Paragon to become Para…gone.

Design definitely improved, slightly more modern than before. UX is still terrible - my music cuts off when I’m on the app because the landing screen has a video WITH sound on by default. For what? While scrolling down, the points is also scrollable to show $ value. This is bad UX interfering with normal interaction.

Another mall other than ION with this min spend thingy. Forgotten about it and my first transaction got the store to successfully scan for me, and ended up no points rewarded. I bought my stuff and went home only realised my spend was only $40 per receipt. Sigh. I already don’t bother to scan points at ION for anything below $100 and now Paragon.
