I love the simple and lovely design of this app. It’s ease of use makes it a no-brainer. I had the app for about a week before I realized that this could revolutionize my life, and I did end up buying the lifetime membership. Now I’ve had it for about a month and I couldn’t be happier. I use it as a daily to-do for house cleaning. Every day I have the habits “put a load of laundry in” and “fold yesterday’s laundry and put away.” I have load the dishwasher in the evening and put dishes away before work in the morning. And then I made a series of “weekly habits” to spend 30 minutes each day on a different room in the house. And it’s working. Sure I don’t get to the laundry every day. But even with a little inconsistency my laundry pile shrinks more than it grows. That’s the mind blowing thing, I’m watching my little avocado plant grow, and my house, while far from spotless, is starting to feel more like a home and less like a noose. This app is a gentle positive reminder of what I want to accomplish, and frankly that’s exactly what I needed.
I’ve spent a lot of time trying to find a habit tracker / routine app, and most of the apps I’ve tried so far have a lot of complexity, aren’t customizable enough for what I’m looking for, or aren’t aesthetic enough for me to enjoy using. The closest I got was using the regular notes app on iPhone With this app, it’s super simple, I can organize routines by time of day, or add habits not related to time of day. It’s also pretty, and was super easy for me to use as opposed to the notes app. I don’t get drawn into the app and end up spending more time using it than actually doing my habits, which has been way more helpful to me than apps that reward time spent in the app. The plant is cute and nice, and habits can be tracked individually or as groups. There’s no punishment for not completing tasks, and the plant grows every time you complete one habit per day, not all habits. It’s very rewarding for people who may be trying to build multiple habits as well as those building one habit at a time. It offers suggestion while also giving you a lot of autonomy in building habits. All around, this is by far my favorite and most helpful app I currently have on my phone due to its impacts on my real life. In the future, I would love to see some optimization in habits we are trying to quit while keeping the shame free environment it currently has. A huge thank you to the developers for making an app that I’ve actively been looking for for so long 💕
I had my doubts about this application because it did not have a lot of reviews. I usually go for the stuff that many other people have tried. I was coming from using one of the most popular habit forming applications available and not being very satisfied. I loved the graphics instantly. I am a very visual person and this made a huge difference in my mind from the start. I used it a few minutes and took a chance: I purchased the lifetime membership. It has been a couple of weeks, and I know now that I made a great decision. This application is life changing if you allow it to become that. Even though it is a bit more expensive, I love the honesty of a pricier lifetime membership versus the subscription model that so many “extortionists” are using now for their own half baked applications. As you complete habits, you water a plant that grows into a tree. What a beautiful, creative, and almost poetic concept. I absolutely love it and took the time to write this long thank you letter to whoever decided to create this beautiful application. May you be happy, loved, and successful.
