I had some of issues with this app when I first started using it. I stopped using it for a while because it was missing some features and had some bugs, but now the bugs are fixed and there are many new and beneficial features. The plants are much easier to move around in the garden, you are provided more information on them, etc. The customer support is probably the aspect that is improved the most however.

The app is super helpful in helping someone just getting into hydroponics. Being able to remotely control lighting and water flow has been fantastic. Its tracker for the plants and sprouts is great for someone with ADHD.
However,
Its diagrams, set up, and nutrient suggestions for feedings are outdated. It constantly references previous versions of the gardens without the ability to select which model you are using and it recommends feedings from nutrient formulas that are unavailable everywhere, turning customers to hydroponic forums to find solutions. Not world ending, but a little short sighted.

I love my Rise Gardens system! I’ve been able to grow so many different types of herbs, leafy greens, veggies and even fruits! The best part is being able to grow fresh produce right in my house for my family and our chickens. There have been minor issues with the system, but Rise has always worked hard to help solve any issue I’ve had. Overall, we are very satisfied with our purchase!
